March 10, 2026 Vallejo, CA Vallejo Mayor Andrea Sorce and the city council recognized our BWOPA Solano/Napa chapter for Women's History Month. We have been instrumental in improving the community for all the people. We have been recognized as changemakers in the evolution of Vallejo's political landscape.

Feb 22, 2025 - Vallejo BWOPA Solano/Napa Chapter host a Community Outreach for youth and parents, a Student Solution Forum. Discussion about safer internet practices. Speakers from the Vallejo police department, IHart and county educator share solutions and available support.

April 2024 & 2025 - Sacramento Starting young to develop political advocacy as a powerful tool for change, especially for marginalized communities.
