BWOPA Solano/Napa chapter hosted a safe place to share experiences, learn some coping mechanisms, and leave feeling better than they came in. The event started with a mood setting sound bath, and ended with a book reading (and signing) about what many black women - the most educated group in America - are experiencing. Pushed out of jobs, maintaining families when economics are so painful, and just dealing with the consistent disappointments that plague us. Encouraging words of support...black women sharing how to cope with it all. A community of powerful black women building on their strengths. Together we created...because creativity is healing and together we grow stronger...here is the results of our creative efforts!
